Having the Four Horsemen on Nitro was a pure joy, as WCW creative let them run wild week to week and cause havoc. Flair was the crazy, unhinged leader that would do anything to secure the world title and the other three were always right there behind him, which was always fun to watch on Monday nights. Nitro also continued the historic feud between Flair and Randy Savage well into 1995 and 1996, a grand soap opera that was all the more exciting with the rest of the Horsemen out there. Stables in today's WWE seem more like a means to an end as opposed to doing something compelling, which seems more intent on when to break them up as opposed to just running with it. WWE's rinse and repeat technique with stables results in an aura of predictability that should never exist within pro wrestling, which is all too common in today's product.
