10 Ways Wrestling Business Could Be Changed Forever By Current World Events

3. Wrestling Finally Gets An Off Season

This is an idea that's been thrown around for years now, and if this whole crisis helps make it a reality, it definitely wouldn't be a bad thing. The careers of wrestlers - particularly those in WWE - are shortened by years of competing hundreds of times a year, and that's why so many of them are happier working for AEW these days!

An off-season (which is something the wrestling business as a whole in America may be forced to take soon) would be beneficial in that respect, while it's no secret that there are times of the year when WWE, in particular, starts feeling a tad stale.

Should these companies realise that they don't need to be on television 52 weeks a year thanks to what's happening in the world right now, things could change for the better moving forward. Remember, every other sport in the world takes some time off, and there's really no reason wrestling can't follow suit.

Either way, it's probably going to be forced to take at least some time off in 2020 given the way things are currently heading!
