10 Ways Wrestling Business Could Be Changed Forever By Current World Events
2. WWE Stops Becoming A Travelling Show
WWE is used to attracting thousands of people to their shows each week, so there's no way an audience of 100 or so fans in the WWE Performance Center is going to become a permanent move for them. However, just like WCW once hailed primarily from Atlanta, what if WWE decides to set up a permanent new arena in Orlando?
The home of theme parks like Disney World and Universal Studios could finally host a physical Hall of Fame along with a location where shows like RAW, NXT, and SmackDown are taped a few times a week. Locals and tourists would fill the building, and WWE could finally escape the embarrassment of having to black out parts of arenas because they're not attracting people to their shows.
Non-televised live shows could also take place now and again, while PPVs like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania could continue travelling the country/world in big arenas now that people in those different cities won't be so used to seeing the same wrestlers every few months.
Honestly, WWE would be kind of foolish not to at least give this some thought moving forward...
