10 Ways WWE Are Worse Than They Were A Decade Ago

1. Three Hour Raws

Did Raw need the extra hour? Was anybody really clamouring for an extra hour of Monday night Raw? WWE decided to switch to three hours in the summer of 2012 (to make more money via advertising, basically) and, three years on it's safe to say that the experiment hasn't been a success. WWE does not have the roster depth to consistently carry three hour shows ever week. While many fans welcome the idea of having long, competitive matches on shows, it's probable that they would give them up if Raw were to revert to three hours. Three hours is just way to long and, while there might be the odd match or segment worth seeking out, most of it is fast-forward material. Back in 05, Raw was at a much easier-to-manage two hours. While there was the odd bit of filler, most of the segments and matches had a purpose. It was a much breezier show to watch. Even the most hardened WWE fan will admit that three hours is too long. And besides, doesn't making Raw three hours long make PPVs seem less special? Unfortunately, it looks like three hour raws are here to stay. Oh well, here's hoping that WWE content dumps a load of 2005 era Raws onto the Network in the near future.
