With the growing exposure to the global TV programming and the resulting popularity, Indian fans are clamouring more and more for opportunities to be able to interact with the international celebrities on a local platform. WWE fans are no different and the couple of times that the company has toured the country in the past, the shows were a resounding financial success. However, the truth is that there just havent been enough of them for the fans to get behind and take their friends and families too and that has been a major letdown. Given the success that the meet n greets with the WWE superstars have had in India (Ryback, Kane, Big Show etc), it is a no-brainer what the result would be if the WWE decides to do live shows in this part of the world. In 1996, when Bret Hart was the then WWF champion, a single show in the city of Bangalore drew around 30,000 fans, and WWE can do same or even more numbers if/when they decide to perform live in India.
