10 Ways WWE Can Build Success In India

8. Showcase More Superstars Of Indian Origin

khali mahal While the WWE roster traditionally was loaded with primarily American and to some extent Canadian wrestlers, the past few years have seen the rise of many outside stars such as Sheamus, Sin Cara, and more recently, Rusev and Aksana. India has had its fair share of representation with names such as The Great Khali, Jinder Mahal and Tiger Ali Singh in the past. However, in all but a brief period for Khali, the Indian performers have been relegated to the background mostly as props or caricatures which hasn€™t been the best way to get the attention of the local proud Indian fans. One straight logical way of capturing the attention of the Indian audience is to bring these characters to the front a lot more than what€™s happening at present and allow them to evolve. Jinder Mahal, for example, has shown that he can work and if given the room to do so, can evolve into a major character that the Indian audiences can connect with.
