10 Ways WWE Can Guarantee A WrestleMania 34 Sell-Out

1. Reverse The Roles In Lesnar Vs. Reigns

All signs point towards a Universal Title match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns headlining WrestleMania 34. In its current form, this is a match that will generate little interest among hardcore fans, as many will assume it’ll end with another failed babyface coronation for WWE’s hand-picked golden boy. The bout shouldn’t be written off entirely, however, and WWE can turn it into an all-time classic with a few significant adjustments.

The crowd reactions are going to be all over the place for this one. Reigns will definitely be jeered out of the building, while Brock, who already draws a mixed reaction, will be cheered like a hero. Thus, it would be remarkably easy for WWE to turn both men in the run-up to the event, presenting Lesnar as a badass monster face against the cocky Reigns, and hyping it as an all-out war between two brutish powerhouses.

It’s unlikely that WWE will go down this route, but it’d certainly help the crowd get excited for the match, and remove Reigns' obnoxious Superman push as a barrier for potential ticket sales. Regardless of their alignments, the duo’s WrestleMania 31 bout was absolutely fantastic, and next year’s should be much the same - it’s just a matter of ensuring that a babyface winner isn’t totally rejected by the crowd.
