10 Ways WWE Can Guarantee A WrestleMania 34 Sell-Out

2. Push AJ Styles In A Huge Match

Few would deny that AJ Styles has been WWE’s standout performer since walking into the company during the 2016 Royal Rumble. The former WWE Champion has produced countless Match Of The Year-calibre bouts against a diverse range of opponents, and brings prestige and credibility to everything he does, no matter where he’s positioned on the card.

Despite this, AJ’s WWE resumé is still missing a classic WrestleMania match. His bout with Chris Jericho at 32 was greatly hindered by his opponent’s declining physical capabilities, and while this year’s fight with Shane McMahon was a fun spotfest, it doesn’t stack up to Styles’ greatest matches. Now 40 years old, the clock is ticking for AJ to strike this one off his bucket list, which makes it vitally important that WWE get his WrestleMania 34 booking right.

The roster is crammed with potentially great opponents, with Shinsuke Nakamura sitting at the top of the pile. The duo had a fantastic match at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 10 last January, and there’s no reason to believe they wouldn’t be able to recreate that magic at the biggest wrestling show of the year. Give them full creative freedom and 20-25 minutes of ring time, and they’ll blow the roof off.
