10 Ways WWE Can Make Live Events Matter Again
3. Improve The Sets And Feel Of The Shows
WWE is a huge, international company, so why is that these live events all feel so... cheap? The sets are incredibly basic and everything from the ring skirts to the barriers around the ring aren't much better than what you see from the indie wrestling companies working out of high school gymnasiums WWE so frequently makes fun of.
The look and feel of these shows need to be completely overhauled and that means WWE will have to start spending money. In the short term, that will probably hurt them, but once fans on social media start seeing how cool these live events look, there will no doubt be quite a bit more interest.
Now, we're certainly not suggesting that WWE should use the RAW and SmackDown sets as that may not be financially viable. However, they could certainly afford to upgrade them seeing as camera crews aren't being paid, and they don't need announcers. A bit of pyro probably wouldn't go amiss either!
