10 Ways WWE Can Make Network-Aired House Shows More Special

7. "Cold" Debut New Wrestlers

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6XrGbc1Ulg Here's an episode of WWF Superstars of Wrestling from 1988 that included the debut of Owen Hart as The Blue Blazer. In said match, Vince McMahon mentions just enough about the Blazer's background and "uniqueness" to make it a worthwhile segment. Imagine if last night at MSG included the "main roster debut" of someone like say, Tyler Breeze. Tyler walks to the ring with his selfie stick and unique gear, and the announcers put over the fact that he's from NXT, a product also available on the WWE Network. Foremost, you're creating value for the brand by creating the connection. As well, in creating value for the Network, maybe this won't be a subscriber who will un-subscribe after their free month. But, yeah. Imagine saw, Fandango versus Tyler Breeze on this show. It's something shocking, unexpected and ultimately a solid match that is also different from the norm.
