10 Ways WWE Can Make Network-Aired House Shows More Special

5. All Clean Finishes

If you want people to feel like they're getting what they paid for, give the people what they want. When you watch a wrestling match, you're not watching for a tie. You're watching for winners and losers. There's no really good reason why the Dudley Boyz couldn't've just lost cleanly to The New Day last night. The New Day are busting ass, working hard and are excelling at presenting their characters in a fresh and entertaining manner. The Dudley Boyz are certainly legends, but at the same time have JUST returned to the company and aren't actually needing a win or near-win to be *over* to the live crowd. In fact, there's actually more creative good in having the Dudleys do the j-o-b in M-S-G last night. In 1998, the New Age Outlaws got over in large part due to the fact that they defeated the Legion of Doom. In a similar manner, in The New Day cleanly defeating the Dudleys and then potentially having them put their WWE careers on the line in a PPV rematch, there'd be significant advancement and potential money on the table for all parties involved.
