10 Ways WWE Can Still Salvage 2019
7. Women's Tag Title Push
At this moment, WWE looks to have finally pulled the trigger on allowing a team with awesome in-ring ability, interlaced with dynamic characters to carry the Women's Tag Team Championships.
For a while in 2019 it didn't feel as though we were allowed to have champions who showcased anything at all, with The IIconics barely even being present on TV.
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross went some way towards making the titles feel as though they were worth fighting for, but after steamrolling through most of the viable contenders on the main roster - there weren't too many - the Kabuki Warriors would eventually get the better of them and green mist their way to the gold.
Now it looks as though WWE are primed to deliver on their promise from almost a year ago, where they stated that these titles would be defended over all three brands.
NXT's Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai are next in line for a shot at Asuka and Kairi Sane's belts and - if it delivers anywhere near the standard of match that you'd expect from these four NXT stand-outs - surely WWE will realise that these titles have the potential to be a showcase match on any PPV (not the pre-show!) and can give them a way of preparing their mid-card talent for an eventual main event push.
