10 Ways WWE Can Still Salvage WrestleMania 36

8. Put The Matches On RAW And SmackDown Instead

WrestleMania can be postponed, but the matches can't. Suddenly hitting the pause button on John Cena's rivalry with The Fiend or not giving Drew McIntyre his shot at the WWE Championship would just be plain dumb, and there are plenty of other big bouts which could take their place later this year.

Having them take place on RAW or SmackDown obviously wouldn't have quite the same effect, but it's a better alternative than just forgetting these creative plans and then returning to them six months from now. It also feels like a better option than holding WrestleMania-lite in the Performance Center; if you think RAW feels awkward, just imagine how bad the Show of Shows will be in that setting!

For better or worse, these matches need to happen in April, and nothing short of WWE being forced to go off the air should change that. As it stands, WrestleMania boasts a somewhat hit-and-miss card, so it's not like giving anything other than probably Edge vs. Randy Orton away for free will hurt the WWE Network.

Special editions of RAW and SmackDown with these big matches, however, would help ratings, and could go some way in improving the company's current viewership woes.
