7. Elimination Chamber
With the last pay-per-view and last day to the launch of the WWE Network, the company had the opportunity to fix some of its previous hiccups prior to entering into a new era and continuing down the Road of Wrestlemania. As we saw last nights, they failed to accomplish this. While the Shield vs Wyatts match was absolutely brilliant, the rest of the card provided us with disappointment. The key of this revolves around the Chamber Match. Here we had Cesaro who has been building up steam and looking stronger than anyone, yet not only did not get a single elimination, he tapped out. This is a major flaw in WWE's logic. Look, I knew going in the Cena would need to get at least one elimination and Cesaro was the most obvious for him to get. However, when building a new major player, the last thing you want him to do is quit. Here he is in his first title match and he quits. However, the key flaw revolves around Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, and Kane. While any time a heel wins in a cheating way, it is disappointing. However, when he isn't the one who did the cheating and an outside force does, it doesn't benefit anyone. Orton didn't gain any major heat with the win and if the Orton vs Batista match stands up, he probably will be the one who is cheered more between the two, although still probably not too much. On the more important side of this issue, we have Daniel Bryan getting screwed again. However, it isn't from a major name in the back like Triple H. It isn't from the champion Randy Orton. It is from Kane. While can has been a major name for over 16 years now, he doesn't possess the aura around him that he once did. With this, a feud between Daniel Bryan and Kane is brewing and this might be the match up for Bryan at Wrestlemania. No one involved deserves this. At the very least, a match between Bryan and Triple H would suffice, although unhappily. Here we have the WWE attempting to fix the hiccup of the Royal Rumble, but not only failed to do so, but created a bigger problem in its wake.
