4. Launch Day Issues
As I am currently writing this, I am also attempting to sign up for the Network as it has just been released. However, there are major issues with this ordeal. While I wasn't expecting everything to do smoothly with such a big event, I wasn't expecting the problems that I have been dealing with. The overload of people attempting to sign up has creating loading issues and it took me an hour just to get into the sign in page. From there, things did not stop going wrong. Once logged in, I attempted to sign up for the Network. However, they did not allow me to and just brought me to the Network page. Thinking that this might be for the week trial, I continued, but no video would load and just would provide a media error message. After this, I continued for an hour searching for a way to sign up for the Network, but it kept giving me the run around. Following this, I went to the App to attempt to sign up, but after signing it, it did not allow me the opportunity to sign up, stating I had not signed up yet. The App and the website aren't running together productively and that is a major issue. I have also read the streaming quality is poor and videos stop rather abruptly. Perhaps these kinks are just temporary and will be fixed soon. However, it doesn't change the fact that they have been working on the Network for years now. The kinks should have been sorted out prior to the release. Yet here I am, sitting and waiting for something to work and wasting hours of my time for it to happen.
