In 1985, one of the hotter storylines in the WWF surrounded the Fabulous Moolah -- then billed as 28-year title holder of the WWF Women's Championship -- chasing down Wendi Richter, the woman who defeated her for the championship at July 28, 1984's The Brawl To End It All mega-event. Moolah even enlisted her trainee Leilani Kai in the gambit, leading to a title switch, Richter regaining the championship and then Moolah masking herself as the Spider Lady and regaining the gold in controversial fashion.
