10 Ways WWE Raw Has Improved Since The Brand Split

9. Cruiserweights

The cruiserweights may have gotten off to a bit of a 'Divas revolution' sort of start, but they’ve quickly found their footing in recent weeks. Brian Kendrick has been one of the most three-dimensional characters on television since he debuted his new persona in the CWC.

Kendrick isn’t the only star out of the cruiserweights’ ranks either. T.J. Perkins, being the inaugural champion, was given instant credibility. Rich Swann continues to dazzle with his high flying moveset, and Noam Dar had a star making debut in Scotland that was worth waiting for.

All in all, the cruiserweights have sneakily become what many thought they’d be in the first place: a strictly indie component of Raw with nearly show-stealing ring work. They help add something different to the show which can help make the three hours much more watchable.
