10 Ways WWE Raw Has Improved Since The Brand Split

4. Seth Rollins: Organic Babyface

I have never seen anything more real in the world of wrestling than the look on Seth Rollins’ face as he sat on the sidelines having to watch WrestleMania 32. You can see he’s just a man who is as passionate about his job as you possibly can be and seeing him watch as his opportunity was lived out by someone else was heartbreaking.

Seth Rollins could have very easily returned as a babyface given the level that fans missed him. However, I have enjoyed the long transition that has also remained true to his character. We’ve watched as opportunity after opportunity has been taken away from him and it’s hard not to genuinely feel for Rollins.

His character is unique in its bitterness but honestly that’s the kind of gritty babyface a lot of the fans are looking for. He is pissed off, we are pissed off, and we can’t wait until he gives people what they have coming to them. That kind of motivation makes for a compelling character that I want to see, good or bad.

Compared to who we were supposed to cheer earlier this year, it’s no mystery why fans are beginning to unify behind Rollins. Seth RAWllins > RAWman Reigns. Shut up, I’m funny.
