There was a number of rumours claiming Punk's wife, and the company's leading Diva, was on the way out after Survivor Series. Thus far, this has proven to be false. Since Punk isn't employed by WWE any more, the company could feasibly take out their frustrations on the closest thing to him. AJ Lost the WWE Divas Championship at Survivor Series to Nikki Bella in record time and in similar fashion to her former charge Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXVIII. Presumably, she should be due a rematch after losing the title but WWE could take that away from her and completely ruin her career to date. She is, by some considerable margin in the eyes of many, the company's best all round female performer and hurting her will not go down with almost the entire WWE Universe. It's a potential catch-22 situation for WWE as their Diva division is floundering, the eight woman tag match at Survivor Series is testament to that. It was the longest 15 minutes in all of our lives. So taking their top performer out of the equation will certainly be far from the 'best for business.'
