10 Ways WWE Will Respect Sting In 2015

9. Continue His Role As WWE's Vigilante

Sting has always been a comic book character come to life. Even in the days when he wore bright neon and sported spiked blond hair, Sting looked as though all he needed was a cape to make it official. He was a larger than life hero to the fans and they loved him for it. However, it was when he lost the loud colors and adopted the black and white that Sting truly became a walking comic book enigma. Inspired by The Crow, Sting changed his look, his demeanor and indeed his entire character. He was transformed and became more relevant than perhaps ever before. Of course, that was WCW. In WWE, Sting's character was best described by Seth Rollins as a vigilante. It was a fitting description for Sting, one that suddenly made more sense than any the company could have used for him. Sting was portrayed as an outsider, a man operating of his own volition and refusing to answer to anyone. It was perfect in every way. This is the role that Sting must be allowed to continue. Despite what WWE chooses to do with him and no matter what matches he may work before he finally hangs up the boots, the vigilante character must go on. It clearly establishes him in the eyes of WWE fans and it gives him a solid sense of relevancy for a whole new generation.
