10 WCW Thunder Moments You Need To Revisit
3. Macho Man's Swansong
Technically, Randy Savage's final appearance in professional wrestling came in TNA in 2005, but it was a run so brief and uneventful (not to mention: in TNA, in the pre-Angle days, when only a handful of people were watching) that it barely warrants a mention.
The last time we saw the 'Macho Man', as we knew him, was on an episode of Thunder in 2000, when he interrupted a 41-man battle royal to join The Millionaire's Club, a short-lived alliance of some of wrestling's biggest names (and KroniK).
Though he was, by then, in his late-40s (though you may not have known it, from his physique), the ex-WWE star proved he was still capable of commanding the attention of nostalgic fans, who watched with glee as he cleared the ring - all whilst his hat and sunglasses remained curiously glued to his head.
