10 Weakest Links In WWE Right Now

1. Jason Jordan

When December rolls around and streams of year-end lists start appearing all across the internet, Jason Jordan's name will feature prominently on many a 'Worst Wrestlers Of 2017' ballot, not for a lack of skill between the ropes, but because his direction has been appalling.

Unveiling him as Kurt Angle's son felt like the wrong move at the time, and the concerns have been entirely justified. The former American Alpha man has struggled greatly in his elevated role, coming off like a goofy, unlikeable dork who can't generate a positive crowd reaction no matter what he does. No other wrestler drags Raw down in such a way, and it's hard to see how Jordan can possibly recover.

The bookers aren't entirely at fault, though. An athletic marvel he may be, but Jordan suffers from a crippling charisma deficit. This was fine in American Alpha, as the electric Chad Gable more than compensated for the shortfall, but can't be masked as solo act. Jordan's dismal situation is worsened every time he forces one of those dopey smiles or recites the writers' latest batch of scripted lines with the uncertainty of a man pushed well above his head. A great wrestler he may be, but Jason is a horrible entertainer, and his role must be recalibrated.
