10 Weakest Links In WWE Right Now

2. Randy Orton

In no conceivable way is Randy Orton one of WWE's worst performers. In the right role, 'The Viper' is a massive asset to the company, and while unspectacular, his silky smooth wrestling style means he meshes well with any other main event-level worker, provided he's motivated. He is the ultimate B+ player, and it's easy to see why Vince McMahon loves him so much.

Orton's role and alignment have always been the key factors in determining whether the 13-time World Champion is a help or a hindrance, however, and right now, he's one of SmackDown's least engaging stars.

In his current form, Randy's work is a surefire insomnia cure. His dull, lethargic performances drag everything down, regardless of who he's facing, and SmackDown always enters a lull whenever Orton's onscreen. Sadly, this is par for the course when he's playing babyface. It won't change until he's placed in his natural, villainous role, but there's no sign of that happening anytime soon.

Orton's 2017 matches with Bray Wyatt and Jinder Mahal stand among the year's worst, and only his Elimination Chamber clash with Luke Harper reached anything close to greatness. His dedication to mailing it in is nothing short of destructive.
