10 Weakest Members Of Popular Wrestling Stables

1. The Legion Of Doom - Rocco

"I think this is the best thing that ever happened to the Legion of Doom"-Paul Ellering in the biggest lie of his life.

The Legion of Doom will always be Hawk and Animal to wrestling fans, but a few other men and women also came along for the ride during their run. Droz, Heidenrich, Sunny and Christy Hemme can all lay claim to being a part of the legendary act at one point or another.

But there was one member that fans would like to forget; even moreso than Heidenreich.

At SummerSlam 92, Hawk, Animal and their manager Paul Ellering blared down the aisles on their motorcycles. It was a pretty sweet visual, except for one little thing: a dummy named Rocco attached to Ellering’s bike.

The scariest, most dominant team in all of wrestling in the ‘80s was stuck with a doll as their mascot. As part of the storyline, this dumb doll was found in a dilapidated house, which actually only made things worse. A half-asssed on-air reasoning was concocted that they wanted to get back to their Chicago roots. Behind-the-scenes it was to try and sell some of those stupid, ugly dolls.

It must also be stated: why in the hell were Legion of Doom wearing their outfits complete with spikes and make-up during a day off?

Sadly, Rocco didn’t last long in the company as Animal revealed later that he was “lost” at the airport.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
