8. The Wyatt Family - Braun Strowman

Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were one of the most exciting acts to come along in years. Unfortunately, WWE didn't protect them that well, and they started to lose a bit of steam.

When Rowan went down with an injury, something needed to be done so they could regain their momentum. Braun Strowman was called up to fill the role of a bodyguard type, and to give the group the numbers advantage again. Basically, the modern day Mason Ryan.

He was initially pushed as unstoppable, easily beating up Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns by himself. But the company could only hide his limitations for so long.

Strowman just wasn’t very good in the ring. Rowan wasn’t exactly Ric Flair, but the man replacing him seemed like he should still have been in developmental for another year or two. Strowman's monster push was soon taken away, and he was largely cast as an ineffective henchmen.

When the group was split up, it was Strowman who was chosen to be shipped off to Raw in search of a singles career. He very much found his footing as a singles star and was the hottest thing in wrestling for a while, but in truth, he never did add much to The Wyatt Family.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
