Four years before it first graced the pay-per-view airwaves, November to Remember started life as an annual supershow live from the ECW Arena.

The name would eventually become ECW's flagship event, in a similar vein to WrestleMania or Starrcade. So, how did the first one end? With a mess of a tag team match, that's how!

One of the duos was Road Warrior Hawk and Sabu, who was Eastern Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion at the time. It's always weird seeing one of the Road Warriors without the other, but teaming with Sabu? That's just nuts.

The other side was represented by World Television Champion Terry Funk and a mystery partner, later revealed to be King Kong Bundy. So, to recap, this match featured a botch-prone maniac, one half of a famous tag team, a crazy middle-aged man, and a monster from the 80s. Ok then.

To make things even more complicated, both championships were on the line, meaning whoever pinned a champion would win their belt. After Bundy turned on Funk and hit him with an Avalanche, Sabu pinned him and became a double champion, bringing this confusing night to an end.
