10 Weirdest ECW Main Events Ever

3. Sid vs Skull Von Krush - House Party 1999

ECW ran four House Party supercards between 1996 and 1999. The final edition of the show was closed out by a man who many people forget had an ECW career - the recently departed Sycho Sid.

Wrestling as just Sid, the blonde behemoth had a cup of coffee in Pennsylvania before returning to WCW. He had just one major main event match, where he faced a man with the ridiculous name of Skull von Krush.

Mr. von Krush (or Skull to his friends) was actually Vito LoGrasso, better known as Big Vito in WCW or just Vito in WWE. Following the semi-main, which saw Taz retain the ECW title over Shane Douglas, von Krush came out, got obliterated by the big man, and pinned in under three minutes.

This was Sid's second match in ECW, although he only ended up having five in total. It was also his longest recorded singles match, so Vito should really be praised for helping him go the distance.

Sid's ECW run ended up being a mere footnote in his larger story, but it's still a fascinating part of the history of a legend.
