10 Weirdest Fake Deaths In Wrestling

8. Pepper And Boots The Cat

We've got a pet-centric double-header here, as beloved furry companions became storyline fodder for detestable heels.

In the more famous of the two angles, The Big Boss Man kidnapped Al Snow's dog Pepper, only to feed Pepper to Al in his hotel room in a move Eric Cartman would quite appreciate. This led to the cr*ptacular Kennel from Hell Match where Al Snow defeated The Boss Man while eluding the friendly, not-at-all-vicious puppies around the ring. And apparently that was considered suitable justice for poor innocent Pepper.

As for Boots the Cat, this Smoky Mountain Wrestling feline was Boo Bradley's only friend, but became a pawn in the game between the diabolical Chris Candido, the manipulative Tammy Sytch, and the kindhearted Boo (aka the future Balls Mahoney). Boots was held hostage by Chris and Tammy, but after Boo refused to do Candido's bidding, Candido took Boots into the ring (in a burlap sack), and splashed the cat from the top rope. As Boo cradled the bag containing his only friend, fans looked on in horror.

There have got to be other ways to get babyfaces sympathy.
