6. Ric Flair Buried Alive
It's one thing for The Undertaker to be buried alive. He's the Phenom, an unstoppable force of nature. It's quite another for a similar fate to befall The Nature Boy Ric Flair.
During his fued with the tweener stable The Filthy Animals, Flair was kidnapped, taken out into the desert heat, and buried alive outside Las Vegas. This was how they got Flair off TV for a bit. By treating him like Joe Pesci at the end of Casino.
And the weirdest part? The next time WCW came to Vegas - weeks later - Flair turned up no worse for wear. No starvation, no nightmares, heck, not even much of a tan to show for what was presumably a full-on Kill Bill escape from the coffin, complete with Flair chopping the coffin lid to splinters and then strutting his way to freedom.
