10 Weirdest Real-Life WWE Friendships

7. Eddie Guerrero & The Big Show

Eddie and The Big Show became close friends in 2003 when they worked a programme together over the United States Championship. The angle, hardly a classic, featured Eddie spraying Show with human waster and feeding him a gimmicked burrito to make him poop himself in the ring. While it was a mismatch in the ring, due to the style and size difference, backstage the two were very chummy with each other. Both men resided in Florida and used to travel together, talking about the business and the bible. Eddie would drive and Big Show would lay out in the back seat, according to Eddie's autobiography. Everyone loved Eddie and he had no shortage of friends backstage, but the sight of Eddie and Big Show travelling together is more than a little odd. Big Show was also the one to break up the backstage fight between Eddie and Kurt Angle in October 2004. Around that time Eddie and Show would team with each other on house shows, too. Speaking about Eddie in 2011, Big Show said:
It is one of the most fun times I had working with Eddie Guerrero, who was a great superstar in the ring a very great gentlemen back stage. Eddie was always very quiet, and just a fantastic guy. In the ring he just had so much charisma and personality- between the burrito incident and spraying me with the septic truck€all the fun Eddie and I had. I think the biggest trouble I had with that was trying to keep a straight face and trying to pretend to be angry while at the same time I€™m laughing so hard.
Big Show looked distraught during the Eddie Guerrero tribute show after Eddie's death in 2005 and you could really tell the two men were close.
