Another case of opposites attracting. The vegan, easy going Bryan and the intense, muscle-bound Ryback used to ride together in 2012/13. Bryan called Ryback - sorry, THE Ryback, as Bryan refers to him - his road wife. Although they didn't get up to anything crazy on the road (kind of hard in the PG era), Bryan made sure to come up with stories about The Ryback to spread amongst the locker room. For example Bryan once made up a story that Ryback was struggling to life 35lb weights and then he punched him in the face, giving him a black eye. Silly, maybe, but anything to make life on the road less dull. Ryback now travels alone apparently, as he doesn't want to break his schedule and enjoys solidarity when on the road. Ryback himself has stated that he doesn't care about making friends but still makes a point to keep in touch with Bryan and considers him a pal. Still, if they were such good friends, why did Ryback clumsily dump Bryan on his head and neck during a match on the July 22nd, 2013 Raw? That's not very friendly.
