On the surface, there's nothing weird at all about Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe main-eventing a TNA pay-per-view in 2007.

Their rivalry is one of the company's greatest ever and the pair clashed many times on pay-per-view between 2006 and 2013, sometimes with the world title on the line. So, why has this one been singled out? One word - belts.

Angle wasn't just the TNA World Heavyweight Champion at the time, but he was also the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. Well, sort of. He won the controversial "third belt", which is a whole other story for another time.

As for Joe, he was TNA X-Division Champion and the sole holder of both the tag titles... somehow. And guess what? All four championships (represented by five physical belts) were on the line in this complete clusterbomb of a match.

Why didn't they just throw the Knockouts Championship in there too? Because why not at this point?

Angle got the win and left the show more metal and leather than man, the most powerful person in TNA by a country mile.
