Rodman and Malone may not have been wrestlers, but at least they were athletes. Someone who is very much not an athlete is chat show legend Jay Leno, but that didn't stop him from main eventing WCW's Road Wild pay-per-view in 1998.

The comedian became involved with wrestling after Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff invaded The Tonight Show, challenging him to a match at the upcoming show. Leno found an ally in Diamond Dallas Page, who always seemed to get stuck babysitting celebrities, and it was on.

Instead of putting Goldberg in the main event, who had beaten Hogan for the WCW title just two months earlier, WCW booked the NWO guys against Page and Leno for the final match.

This sideshow battle came to an end with Kevin Eubanks, Leno's bandleader on his show, hit Bischoff with a Diamond Cutter, allowing his boss to pin Easy E... with his shoulders about six inches off the mat.

Oh Jay.

A completely insane idea that resulted in rock bottom buyrates for the company, Jay Leno's involvement in Road Wild 1998 has gone down as one of the most infamous decisions WCW ever made. And that's saying something.
