10 Weirdest WWE Odd Couples

2. Kane & Tori

Sex and violence were currency in the Attitude Era - Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock made stars of themselves and others by kicking *ss, whilst WWE forced women to parade it for the good of admittedly enormous ratings.

Sunny, Sable, Debra and others shot to fame showing as much skin as the company could get away with. Though the material was as thin as the swimwear on show, it did open the door a crack for other women to get in the company and get on television providing they were prepared to do the same.

Tori wanted more for her career than that, but WWE had little interest in her former life as Terri Power - her role with the group was to be defined entirely by who she was with. Stalking Sable in 1999 on her way in, she found herself as a sex object for X-Pac in early-2000 after the degenerate literally used a forced sexual liaison over Christmas to steal her away from Kane.

There was a certain charm to 'The Big Red Machine' having his "first" girlfriend long before retconning called for him to have killed the object of his desire in a drunken car crash years earlier. In a time before semen stains, there were fraught pains - Kane's heartache was oddly shared by a WWE fanbase yet to tire of his work.
