10 Weirdest WWE Odd Couples

1. Otis & Mandy Rose

WWE are so rarely just nice.

A company that seems intent to feed off of the world's evil (literally, in the case of select deals in place) isn't the best at delivering happy ending. Babyfaces don't beat bullies when it's all said and done, Champions rarely get more than their literal moment in the sun before they're dragged kicking and screaming into the reality of being a figurehead, and the guys don't get the girls if there's a heartbreaking swerve that buys another month of rematches.

This wasn't the case with the Otis/Mandy Rose angle, even if the architect herself was let go as part of the Black Wednesday bloodletting following WrestleMania 36. The pair had tried and failed to come together before the 'Show Of Shows', with a February 14th date hijacked by Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler in a continuation of a story that made neither buffoon out of the boy or b*tch out of the girl.

This, throughout, was a case of the company not resorting to bad habits - it's little wonder the entire thing was so warmly received.
