Of all the cinematic matches that WWE put out during the pandemic, none were as outlandish, disturbing, and straight-up bonkers as this one from the main event of Extreme Rules 2020.

Whoops, that should be "The Horror Show at Extreme Rules". WWE were really trying everything during lockdown.

Universal Champion Braun Strowman was booked to face his old faction leader Bray Wyatt in what could have been a highly emotional affair if WWE hadn't made it completely and utterly mental.

The "Wyatt Swamp Fight" featured Bray reverting back his old cult gimmick and revealing that he could teleport now. Strowman got attacked by a bunch of masked men, one of whom was an exact replica of himself, and a woman in a black hood appeared holding a snake, which promptly bit him.

This fever dream of a match culminated in a battle by the swamp itself, into which Strowman kicked his old friend. Just when he thought he was safe, The Fiend rose from the water and dragged him up, bringing to a close one of the nuttiest things WWE has ever done.

And that's saying something.
