The thing about Bray Wyatt is that he won't come cheap.

WWE could realistically pay him less than he was on - the old Samoa Joe Special - but Wyatt hasn't yet succeeded or failed in the movie industry. He still has a shred of bargaining power. Also, he hasn't been gone that long. The non-Wyatt fanatics haven't yet reappraised Wyatt's career as a sad, missed opportunity. The character is still synonymous with hack horror nonsense like incinerations, resurrections and goo. Also, Wyatt might want to give the film industry an actual go. He was big into the Firefly Fun House stuff. It seems more his speed.

Bruce Prichard is a renowned advocate of spooky drivel; he was a massive mark for Papa Shango, still is, and is in general a guy who can't abide the wrestler's wrestler. That's probably because Vince McMahon can't either, and he does everything Vince says, but he was also a big proponent of the occupational gimmick.

Prichard has Vince's ear again, so something's cooking here, something aligned with their various tastes: what if there was a man taller than Wyatt, with a better physique, who works some kind of possessed-by-monster gimmick who is also, being in NXT 2.0, on a couple of quid?
