10 Wild Outside Bets To Win The 2022 WWE Royal Rumble

9. Omos

AJ Styles Omos

Omos happens to not be a very good wrestler.

He functioned quite effectively as the hot tag destroyer of AJ Styles. Styles worked the face-in-peril role, but as a heel, and while this killed several babyface tag teams in the spring and summer of 2021, that didn't bother Vince McMahon one iota.

Who gives a f*ck about several tag teams when the enormous hoss wrestler is getting over?

And get over Omos did.

His deeply rudimentary but compelling power spots popped an audience enchanted by the sheer spectacle of a long, steep, and gut-churning descent to the canvas.

Omos was exposed when the big grudge match was thrown away on a random episode of RAW the other week. Here's the big, damning indictment: John Cena did a far better job carrying the Great Khali than Styles did carrying Omos, and AJ Styles makes John Cena look like Tom Magee. You might think Omos is done after that disaster.

But.

Here's the thing.

Omos, and you might have noticed this, is tall. Incredibly tall. The tallest wrestler in the entire industry, which is populated by smaller fellers mostly. So he looks even taller than he is, which is extremely, impossibly tall.
