Were it not for the fact the whole world and his dog and his dog's fleas seem convinced WWE already have their sights set on a Becky Lynch-Ronda Rousey meeting come WrestleMania, it'd be difficult to look past Nia Jax as first-pick to win the Royal Rumble.

Higher-ups haven't soured on pushing Jax despite how many people she's clumsily waylaid, and if anything, it's actually played into their hands. Since separating Becky Lynch from her face, Nia has been public enemy number one in the women's division, and since at least one of the two titles will be going spare, WWE may want to leverage the fact.

The only reservation is that she's already in a title programme having won Evolution's battle royal, and was in the spotlight at the last WrestleMania. But when did repetition ever trouble WWE?

Probability: Nia Jax is always a contender for anything, no matter how tedious it is.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
