10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE 2019 Women's Royal Rumble

It might be slightly illogical that both the winner and loser of the 2018 Mae Young Classic final are considered outside bets for Royal Rumble 2019, but such is the impermanence of WWE's results that they can be re-contextualised - or plain forgotten - at the drop of a hat. Or in Shirai's case, the drop of a fluffy tiger mask.

Yes, the kawaii Satoru Sayama might have been swiftly beaten by Toni Storm back at Evolution, but that's just the sort of dampening smokescreen WWE like to mask an upcoming major victory. That said, it seems more likely we'll have to wait at least another year - and perhaps for a Mae Young 3 victory - before Shirai joins WWE's stardom.

Probability: This'll happen if WWE have any sense - but perhaps not in 2019.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
