10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE Royal Rumble 2020

4. Braun Strowman

Was Braun Strowman's recent dancing a clever meta clue as to his future?

Did he dance like nobody is watching because we're not paying enough attention to him?

Or is Vince McMahon simply an overgrown child who made him do it because things are funny when they are uncharacteristic? Big monsters don't dance, pal, it's gold!

Strowman is a wild outside bet to win the Rumble, alright, because nobody takes him seriously. He is a directionless midcard act, and his performance level has dipped into the phoned-in overfamiliar, which is hardly helping his cause. There is no defiant fandom dragging him to the main event any more because that fandom has received the message with clarity: Strowman has lost several high-profile matches, and he no longer feels like a monster. The whole monsters-become-dancers thing is a meme, but this actually happened with Strowman, fating him to the midcard forevermore...

...until an opponent for some World Champion at some point is required, and we will be asked to forget his truthful hips.

That "some point" is not at WrestleMania, so instead expect Michael Cole to build him as some insurmountable threat for about 10 minutes until he's eliminated by about eight people.

Or by Brock within seconds, because that's his career.
