10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE Royal Rumble 2023

5. Ronda Rousey

While it's mad, and a major indictment, that Ronda Rousey is considered a wild outside bet to win the women's Royal Rumble match, she's far closer to that than a favourite.

Her second run has been nothing less than an unmitigated disaster. The sloppy and indistinct in-ring performances; the phenomenally contrived and awful kid's TV-level insults; the complete absence of aura: WWE took who was once the most famous female athlete on the planet and rendered her unrecognisable in literally every respect.

If the relationship isn't already dead, a complete overhaul is required to save it. Ronda needs to feel like she can destroy the competition in less than a minute all over again. While not an insightful take, Paul Heyman must be tasked with her creative. There are several negatives to the Rousey act, and Heyman is best positioned to hide them and accentuate the positives.

A spiritual sequel to the 2010 CM Punk run, in which Rousey simply throws everybody out and sits there with an arrogant shrug, might be one means of accomplishing that - if WWE even cares at this point.

Ronda doesn't seem fussed. Perhaps she's already doing business on the way out.
