10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE Royal Rumble 2023

6. Bron Breakker

WWE doesn't quite have the star creation problem it did in years gone by.

Sami Zayn is a top babyface in waiting. Roman Reigns, a rare megastar, has won over even those who deemed him a monologue merchant. Kevin Owens has been rehabilitated as a very over, credible character who can be slotted into main events. As mentioned, Solo Sikoa may well be the best NXT call-up ever. Ricochet is treated more seriously than he ever was, and, incredibly enough, the cause and effect here is that he is now wrestling excellent, critically acclaimed matches. Still, the roster is ageing - significantly - and the wear and tear has affected Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles in recent weeks and months.

What if Triple H straps up the breakout star of NXT within months of his main roster debut?

There's business justification behind such a move; with Bron Breakker on top, NXT grew its audience over 2022 with more success than any other televised North American wrestling brand.

It's not a desperation move, and Breakker's act is precision-engineered to get over big, and quickly, with WWE main roster crowds, who for the most part are demonstrably uninterested in long, drawn-out matches.

Preposterously explosive, Breakker, booked correctly, could become an overnight star on January 28.
