8. Rey Mysterio Offers Life Advice

The following urban legend almost certainly didn't happen, but it's simply so amusing that it has prevailed in the online sphere, resurfacing when we could all use a good laugh.

As you're likely aware, Rey Mysterio offers a motivational greeting to whichever young fan he sees wearing a replica mask. He presses his head against theirs, and says...something to which we aren't privy. And it's none of our business, really. Perhaps he says something like "Thanks for believing in me, kid" or "Thanks for the merch cheque, lad, do you know we have to drive ourselves from show to show and these f*ckers don't even reimburse our gas?"

A Reddit user however has revealed the true message.

Writing on r/SquaredCircle six years ago, u/423-GET-FAME claims that Mysterio said "Do something with your life you little bitch".

This surely isn't something Rey would actually say, is it? The parent or guardian might overhear and demand a refund.

But.

But.

What is Rey Mysterio doing now? Since 2020, he has basically told that little bitch Dominik Mysterio to do something with his life. That's all he does. He is his kid's mentor.

So maybe he did say it!
