1. Greg Valentine Thinks WWE Should Fire Female Wrestlers
The most recent controversial comments on this list, former Intercontinental Champion Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine has left a lot of jaws wide open with his recent words. When quizzed during a shoot interview about the current female revolution in WWE, Valentine said he didn't have any interest in it. Not stopping there, the man went on to say that he felt the company should get rid of all their female talent. Clearly, Valentine doesn't feel that women have a place in the pro wrestling industry, which is clearly an incredibly dated mindset. Everyone is entitled to their own views, but the ex-wrestler can't expect people to be content when he says things such as, "send them all out to the strip bar and fire them". WWE's Divas have been earning rave reviews for their performances on television lately, and many fans are enthused by the chance women are getting to finally shine in the juggernaut promotion. Comments such as these from Greg Valentine will surely not be received well by the current crop of girls under contract.
