Melissa Anderson has been known by many names over her illustrious wrestling career, but the one she is best known by is Cheerleader Melissa.

Melissa has been a staple of women's independent wrestling for two decades. She began her career in Ultimate Pro Wrestling, the same promotion that gave John Cena and Samoa Joe their starts.

Over the years, Melissa has performed for everyone from Shimmer, where she is a two-time Shimmer Champion, TNA, where she performed under the name of Raisha Saeed, and Lucha Underground, where she is the on-screen sister of Marty "The Moth" Martinez.

Melissa is a fantastic performer who is still at the top of her game. She offers a versatility that is unmatched by most other female wrestlers, so AEW could put her to a lot of different uses.

She could elevate younger stars, hold their women's championship convincingly or even manage top female or male talent.

Cheerleader Melissa may sound like someone who stands on the sidelines, but this Cheerleader is anything but a sideshow when it comes to wrestling. AEW would do well to get her.
