10 Women AEW Need To Sign

2. Madison Rayne

Of all the women on this list, Madison Rayne is perhaps the best known to American audiences.

Rayne has been active since 2005 and has won titles and accolades across the North American indie scene, including the Shimmer Tag Team Championships with Nevaeh. She was also a part of the inaugural Women of Honor Championship tournament.

Rayne's biggest successes came in TNA/Impact, where she was best known as part of The Beautiful People stable alongside stars like Angelina Love, Lacey Von Erich and Velvet Sky.

She held the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship twice - once with Beautiful People and once with Gail Kim - and is a five-time Knockouts Champion, with only Kim and Love holding the title more often.

It's strange that WWE haven't snapped Rayne up, considering she's been one of the biggest female names in American wrestling over the past decade and a half. They even had the chance when Rayne appeared in the Mae Young Classic in 2018.

WWE's loss is definitely AEW's gain here. Rayne brings a name value that few female performers can match in the US, as well as experience, skill and a pre-made gimmick that's guaranteed to get heat.

Who knows, maybe we could even see a Beautiful People reunion one day. The smarks would go wild.
