10 Women AEW Need To Sign
3. Tenille Dashwood
Tenille Dashwood, better known as Emma in WWE, should have been given so much more.
The Australian performer was on the verge of being a mega star in WWE. She was runner-up in the first ever NXT Women's Championship tournament and got over hugely, firstly with her goofy dancer gimmick and secondly with her mean-faced heel persona.
However, due to bad booking, bad presentation, and bad... well, everything, Emma's bright star was firmly extinguished and she was released in 2017.
Since then, Emma - who now performs under her real name of Tenille Dashwood - has been a big draw on the indies.
In 2018, she began appearing for Ring of Honor, where she became a key figure in its growing Women of Honor division. At the moment, she's currently embroiled in a mystery attacker storyline whilst recovering from a real-life illness.
Whilst she seems pretty locked into her ROH contract at the moment, there's every chance Dashwood could jump ship to AEW in the near future.
If she did and was treated right by the company, then she would serve as a great example of a former WWE talent making a comfortable living outside of the promotion. This might be key in tempting current talent away from McMahon-land and into the waiting arms of AEW.
An incredible talent who deserves another shot at the big time, the former Emma could easily be a main event figure in AEW's women's division.
