Jay is still so fresh to the wrestling industry, as she only began training in 2018, but in those short four years, she has become a vital member of one of the promotion's biggest stables, The Dark Order. Their recent reunion could lead to more success for the group, and one way to establish that would be to give this wrestler the belt.
Her win/loss record isn't one of the most impressive on the roster, but Jay has shown her grit and determination plenty of times, so this surprise victory would have legs to stand on.
It also bears mentioning that the former leader of The Dark Order, Mr Brodie Lee, is synonymous with the TNT Championship. Thus, giving the TBS belt to another member of the stable could be a powerful way to pay tribute to him whilst raising the stock of this wrestler at the same time.
