10 World Class Athletes Who Would Have Been Huge WWE Stars

8. Enes Kanter

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAHyU4ZLxB8 Enes Kanter?! Some fans, may be surprised, others may have no clue who Kanter is. However, there may be no active male pro athlete in America more suited for pro wrestling than Kanter. A 6 foot, 11 inch, 260 pound Turkish Center for the Utah Jazz, Kanter was the third overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. While his playing time has been inconsistent, Kanter's promise has been displayed, and one day could become a premium center in the NBA-- if his love for professional wrestling doesn't snag him away first. To call Kanter a pro wrestling fan is a giant understatement. Before being ruled ineligible to play at the University of Kentucky during the 2010-2011 season, Kanter appeared at the school's "Big Blue Madness" scrimmage, and entered the event in classic western hat, walking out to the Undertaker's classic theme song. After the event, Kanter was affectionately referred to as "The UnderKanter" by Kentucky fans. With The Undertaker, Kane, and the Big Show all reaching the end of their careers, a premium will be placed on possible giants in which the WWE can utilize on their brand, especially athletic ones. Perhaps Kanter could fill that role after his NBA career, something he's expressed interest in.
